I am a fan of civil aviation, a huge fan even. I like studying the passenger side of aircraft, airline operations, and airports.

As such, I always say that the plane ride and the airport are a vital part of the travel experience. Now, instead of visiting each of the 80 provinces in the Philippines, I will embark on a smaller yet likewise difficult mission: to land or depart in all airports in the Philippines with scheduled flights.

Below, I track my progress, with the airports grouped according to the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) classification.

Time to fly!
